Statue of Liberty

The Statue of Liberty, located on Liberty Island in New York City's harbor, is a symbol of freedom and democracy. A gift from France to the United States, the statue was dedicated in 1886 and has since become an iconic landmark. Standing tall at 305 feet, including the pedestal, Lady Liberty holds a torch in her right hand and a tablet representing the Declaration of Independence in her left.
Visitors can take a ferry to the island and even climb to the statue's crown for panoramic views of New York City. The Statue of Liberty represents the values of liberty and hope, welcoming millions of immigrants to America.
What visitors are saying
Come prepared, even if it’s an amazing point to meet up and the walk up to the statue is magnificent (I can imagine how beautiful it will be during spring time if I had a nice Winter stroll here…) and get yourself some cool pics. Outdoor workout 🏋🏾♀️ available under the bridge, chairs are accessible to just see the water and chill in the midst of rush hour traffic or just a calm morning to catch some sun ray
We thought it would be nice to come and enjoy the Statue of Liberty in Paris since we are Americans. It's a nice walk over to the statue, but it is much smaller than we expected. Still a nice piece of art work in the city.
The statue of Liberty (Paris) that was gifted by France to America and then given back to France.
It is a nice place to click photographs. The lake surrounding it is serene. You can also have a view of the Eiffel Tower from the bridge behind the statue of Liberty.
Also, a shopping mall is at a walking distance from the Statue.
The path to get here was a nice long walk (which I was looking for). It was quite bizarre to see this in person; however I recommend it. There is no entrance fee and it is a place of peace and has interesting views to behold.
