(Chinese: 福清; pinyin: Fúqīng; Wade–Giles: Fu2-ch'ing1; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Hok-chhiaⁿ; Foochow Romanized: Hók-chiăng; also romanized as Hokchia) is a county-level city of Fujian Province, China, it is under the administration of the prefecture-level city of Fuzhou.
There are many buses from nearby Fuzhou to central Fuqing. The trip takes a bit over half an hour.
A few buses coming to Fuzhou from towns further South — Putian, Quanzhou or Xiamen — stop in Fuqing, but most just drop off passengers at a nearby highway exit where it is easy to grab a cab for the two km ride into town.
