Going down from the parking to the lake and then making your way back up can be really exhausting due to gusty wind, freezing cold and low oxygen. Carrying an oxygen cylinder is recommended. It is one of the most highest place you could travel in India, Almost 18500 ft. And it really becomes tough whenever you are half way there. The oxygen level becomes low, You get headaches, You may feel a bit dizzy.\nCamphor, popcorn and Diamox is must here to help you get relief from high altitude sickness. Journey till here is long but once you reach and look at the turquoise blue water surrounded with beautiful snow-capped mountains you will forget all the pain.But it's once in a lifetime kind of experience. Going down from the parking to the lake and then making your way back up can be really exhausting due to gusty wind, freezing cold and low oxygen. Carrying an oxygen cylinder is recommended. It is one of the most highest place you could travel in India, Almost 18500 ft. And it really becomes tough whenever you are half way there. The oxygen level becomes low, You get headaches, You may feel a bit dizzy.\nCamphor, popcorn and Diamox is must here to help you get relief from high altitude sickness. Journey till here is long but once you reach and look at the turquoise blue water surrounded with beautiful snow-capped mountains you will forget all the pain.But it's once in a lifetime kind of experience. Going down from the parking to the lake and then making your way back up can be really exhausting due to gusty wind, freezing cold and low oxygen. Carrying an oxygen cylinder is recommended. It is one of the most highest place you could travel in India, Almost 18500 ft. And it really becomes tough whenever you are half way there. The oxygen level becomes low, You get headaches, You may feel a bit dizzy.\nCamphor, popcorn and Diamox is must here to help you get relief from high altitude sickness. Journey till here is long but once you reach and look at the turquoise blue water surrounded with beautiful snow-capped mountains you will forget all the pain.But it's once in a lifetime kind of experience.
