Extraordinary museum with exquisite taste. The comparison and similarities between the works of Claude Monet and Pablo Picasso was amazing. The art of impressionism and abstraction really caught my eye. The museum was perfectly sectioned and very clean and neat. Being an art enthusiast and art lover, It was a great visit. We visited with the previously bought Vienna Pass.
Absolutely beautiful gallery, very highly recommended. Their permanent exhibition of Money to Picasso is like a highlight reel of late c19 and early c20. Excellent place.
The collection is housed in the kind of beautiful, traditional building typical of Vienna, but with modern twists here and there.
You should definitely fit the Albertina into your visit.
This was likely the most amazing art museum that I have ever been to. The palace is incredible. The selection of art focusing on impressionists and complimentary artists of the same era along with very well curated displays of prominent German artists was fantastic. Highly recommend.
Nice museum with classic art but also (at my time of visiting) a modern exposition. It's allowed to take pictures and all facilities are clean and modern.
