This was the most amazing experience I've ever had. To be able to experience history and my faith all in one spot was an out of this world experience. The sheer beauty of the art, both in the museum and on the ceiling, was something everyone should experience at least once.
Make sure you buy online tickets! Preferably bundled with bus tour (53€) or some other tour groups. Because it is not worth it to stand in the endless queue in the scorching sum!!!
The way to the chapel is much more interesting than the actual chapel which is only the size of a basketball court...

Mind blowing. Painting on the ceiling and walls are magnificent. Sistine chapel so gorgeous and too bad we are not allowed to take pictures inside the Sistine chapel
Well worth doing the guided tour. They explain so many hidden details which are easy to miss. The place itself is absolutely stunning. I have seen all the famous paintings on TV and paper, but seeing at them in real life painted on a ceiling is just breath taking. A must do for all visiting Rome!
