Epcot World Showcase, situated in Orlando, Florida, is a captivating part of the Epcot theme park at Walt Disney World. It features eleven pavilions, each representing a different country, offering an immersive experience of global cultures and cuisines. Stroll through the charming streets of the United Kingdom, savor authentic French pastries in France, and explore the rich history of China.
The World Showcase also hosts cultural performances, interactive exhibits, and entertaining attractions. At night, witness the spectacular IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth show, a mesmerizing display of lights and fireworks celebrating the diversity and unity of humanity.
What this place offers
What visitors are saying
The premise of this area is countries of the world, you taste the food and meet people from that county. Japans drums drew a good crowd and the nachos in Mexico are amazing! The fireworks are well worth the wait. Excellent musical score and great atmosphere. The exit was surprisingly quick considering how many people were leaving.
A celebration of the World. A great way of learning about different cultures and countries from around the World. I know that we have shortened this Big Blue Sphere by having internet, but for people like me that find it difficult to travel around the World, it is great to actually see structures and food similar to their real and original counterparts. To me, this area is the best and most important area in Epcot.
A really cool experience if you're interested in food and drinks from other countries. We tried the whole "drink around the world" and it was a lot of fun.
Not sure all of the drinks in each country are authentic, but the ones that were really stood out
I do wish the merchandise was a bit better in each country. Canada easily had the best shirts. Most of the other stores clothing were too "disney-y"
Located inside of Disney's Epcot. Admission is required. Explore cultures from around the world as you indulge in beverages, food and decadent desserts that represent each country's variety of dishes. There are plenty of quick service locations along the way or you can make a reservation for one of the traditional restaurants. I highly recommend reservations in advance if wanting to do a sit down restaurant.
Vegan, Vegetarian, Plant-based and Gluten Free options are all offered, just check the menus AND talk to a Chef.
During certain times of the year, you'll even get to experience more cultural tastes as foodbooths pop up part of festivals such as Food & Wine, Festival of the Holidays, Flower & Garden and Festival of The Arts. Of course make sure you to don't miss out on all of the live concerts in the American Pavillion during these special festivals. You might just catch Simple Plan, Boy II Men or Don Felder.
Whatever you do, just be prepared to eat and drink around the world which means having an open budget and an open stomach!
**Please note that photos are from various festivals over the last two years to give you an idea of what to expect at each, but the menus can change each year**
