Almada Beach

Great place. Really great place to relax and enjoy a beautiful day in the beach. The road is quite long and in bad state, but the views are wonderful. The beach is the last one before to arrive in the state of Rio de Janeiro.

Avoid this beach if you're traveling with kids. Vicious dogs freely roam at this beach. Same dog bit my 3yo and 5yo.

One of the best beaches in the region to relax. Very calm, pool-like sea, usually a bit warmer than elsewhere. If you are looking for some very tasty caipirinhas, try the "Caju" kiosk.

Amazing landscape, family environment but a bit crowded.
