Nice beach with some structure and some beach-facing things like restaurants.
Traffic to arrive may be terrible, so pay attention to the period you're visiting. Going on off-season periods is better.
It's not the cleanest beach, but water is good enough for swimming.
You will need to consume (eat or drink) to rent the umbrella and chairs. When I went there it was BRL30 consumption per person.
In comparison to other local beaches, I felt very safe in there. People were friendly and never hostile in any sense.
What I liked: - the town and the beach looked reasonably not too crowded, allowing us to find easily space for ourselves on the beach and at the restaurant
What I did not like: - the town is in fact just a short road with some bars and restaurants, but there is not a real attraction to visit after the beach.
Fantastic beach. Where the forest and hills meet the ocean. It was rainy and cloudy when we were there but still amazing 🤩
