We enjoyed the tour very much. We booked two days in advance and all the communication with them was very good. The tour guide helped us put together different parts of Italian history by walking us around some key places and landmarks in Rome as well as some cool streets.

She explained everything very well and gave us some tips for other sightseeing outside of the tour as well. Overall, I recommend you take this tour early on during your visit in Rome. It will set you up for the rest of your trip.

Don’t forget to bring cash and tip them as this is how they make their living!

We had to wait a bit for the tour. But anyway, guide told interesting stories about the history and peculiarities of Rome. It was really worth it. Thanks!

Horrible experience, would put negative stars if I could... I'm not going to name the tour guide in respect for him keeping his job but from the beginning he was rude, publicly shamed me, made others uncomfortable and yelled at my friend to "pay city fees."

I had booked the ancient Rome tour in the morning but decided to skip out on it to visit the colosseum. When I got to the evening walking tour he recognized my name and said he was going to cancel me from attending tours because I was "rude" and "unkind" for not showing up without notice (although I did send an email but it did not send due to slow wifi and service.) He demanded I show him the email and said to "not lie to him." Later on, he told everyone else in the tour that I missed out on the morning one and attempted to make me feel guilty for it, he also shammed another participant for drinking out of a water bottle and forced her to drink from a water fountain instead.. When I lagged behind the tour to tell my friend what had happened, he stopped the tour, pointed me out and demanded I walk next to him for the entire duration (felt like I was a kid at a school trip in trouble). Halfway through the tour, my friend started to feel sick and mentioned to him that they were going to leave.. he came up to me and said to "not invite rude people again" and mentioned that I had to pay €5 each for the people that had left. I stayed out of obligation and he pointed me out for lagging behind or not being attentive. At one point he took a picture of everyone as "evidence for the agency" to which I refused to take part in and he said that was "unacceptable." At the end of the tour, he had asked for tips which I was not going to give, so I started to walk away and he had yelled at us demanding that we "had to pay to cover city fees." He continued to guilt trip us and refused to let us go, we argued for a while and he said there was a disclaimer in the email saying that there is a "€5 minimum charge" which was false. Overall, it was a horrible experience, i'm sure if I had a better guide it would have been great as the sights were magnificent.

Booked this and paid the €3 to save our spots. The day before the tour we received a text asking if we would still be attending. Unfortunately our plans had clashed and so we informed them we would need to cancel our tour. They responded incredibly rudely, with exclamation points, stating "if you had told us earlier we would have cancelled the whole thing!!! This is why we send a reminder email!!!" I apologised for cancelling (though it was still a days notice!), and checked emails, the reminder had gone to spam. I pointed this out to the person on the text, and they replied angrily again that we should have emailed to cancel sooner. I did not wish to justify myself as a busy tourist who is not glued to their phone on holiday, so I stopped responding.

Reading some of the other reviews, I'm very glad we didn't go with them.

We booked a free tour with Walkative instead and it was absolutely fantastic!
