A different way to see the world

A shoulder season is not a bargain version of somebody else's summer. It is a place in transition: harvest under way, ferries thinning, city routines returning and weather becoming part of every decision. Issue 002 follows that change across islands, vineyards, cities, mountains and rice terraces. The practical invitation is simple. Check what remains open, book the scarce connections, respect working landscapes and let a shorter day edit the itinerary. Travel at the turn of a season rewards attention, but only when we meet the place that is actually there rather than demanding the one pictured in July.
